Tuesday 9th February - Clubnight talk by Andrew French, Field Service Engineer, Lotus Cars

Andrew gave an interesting talk, to an audience of around 25 members, about his work at Lotus, together with his experiences of Minis, including rally car preparation in Tasmania. Andrew is an organiser of the Holbeach Vintage Rally which this year takes place on 19/20 June. Thanks to all who attended.

Tuesday 9th March - Clubnight talk by Warwick Banks [by kind invitation of the Jaguar Drivers' Club]

During a 40 year racing career, Warwick has driven a wide range of cars. He drove alongside Jackie Stewart in one of Ken Tyrrell's F3 Coopers back in 1964, and went on to win the European Touring Car Championship the same year in a works Mini. The following year he won his class in the British Saloon Car Championship again in a Mini Cooper S. After a long break from racing, he returned to competition in 1988 and has raced ever since, notably in MGBs. Last year, Warwick raced a Cooper Bristol and a Mini Cooper S in the Heritage GT championship as well as appearing in a Wolseley 1500 at the Goodwood Revival. This event takes place at Whaplode Manor with an 8pm prompt start.

Tuesday 13th April - Clubnight visit to Spalding Energy Company

This interesting 1½ hour tour of Spalding Power Station is limited to 15 persons (although we plan to arrange a second visit if there is demand). 7.30 pm start. If you would like to go, please contact Paul Pollard on 01406 373734 or by email.

Sunday 25th April - Club promotional display and circular tour on 'Drive It' Day

Dust off your classic for a spring time outing to Baytree Nurseries, Weston. Steve Saunders is co-ordinating our stand. Adrian Cunnington is looking after the run, for which details will be available shortly.
